Our Academy Sports program helps participants become not only better players, but better people as well. It’s a progressive competitive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every participant gets to play and the offerings are safe, exciting and fun. The focus of our leagues is to have fun, meet new friends and play safely in a competitive environment.

Soccer Academy

The YMCA Soccer Academy is the first of its kind. Bringing the morals and principles of the Y to a more competitive stage, while still focusing on having fun and meeting new friends. Participants will attend training sessions then showcase the team talents by playing in competitive tournaments around the Dallas metropolitan area!

Academy consists of training sessions and tournament play primarily held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during the following scheduled times. Other weeknight and Sunday participation may be scheduled for make-ups due to weather or location conditions.
Summer Hours: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
School Year Hours: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Participants must be ages 9 to 16 years old at the time of registration.

Required: All participants must wear shin guards and cleats (not provided) and have a water bottle.

Location for team meets and training sessions: Frisco Family Y (3415 W. Main St., Frisco)
