Preschool Summer Day Camp
Through Preschool at the Y, children will be introduced to the important skills of building character values, self-esteem, and improving kindergarten readiness. The YMCA Preschool program focuses on all areas of development for children of preschool age. These areas include fine and gross motor skills, physical activities, arts and crafts, science, math and counting, letters and much more. Because childhood development is so essential to the Y’s core values, it is our top priority to provide children the necessary skills and appropriate environment in which they are encouraged to be creative, independent and responsible.
At the Plano YMCA Preschool, we take responsibility of early childhood education seriously. We base our educational and guidance decisions for children on our knowledge of child development. Our number one goal is to provide the kind of environment and influence that encourages all children to become creative, independent, and responsible students who can make positive choices for themselves.
Plano Summer Day Camp
Preschool Summer Day Camp includes age-appropriate hands-on learning activities, age appropriate STEM lessons, arts and crafts, and tons of friendship and fun. Preschool Day Campers will benefit from on site visits from special guests like Creature Teacher and Ramblin’ Rita throughout the summer. All preschool campers ages 3-years and up must be restroom independent.
Day Camp Location: Plano YMCA | 3300 McDermott Rd., Plano, 75025
Camp Hours of Operation – Regular Care: 8:00am-5:00pm
Camp Dates: Camp will operate weekly Monday through Friday from 6/2/2025 to 8/8/2025
Camp will be closed on Friday, 7/4/2025.
Camp Regular Care Rates: $230.00 per week for YMCA Members | $290.00 for Non-Members
Pre Care Option: 7:30am-8:00am – additional $25.00
Post Care Option: 5:00pm-5:30pm – additional $25.00
Pre and Post Care Option: 7:30am-8:00am and 5:00pm-5:30pm – additional $45.00
(Second child discounts are not automatically applied at the point of registration. Please email [email protected] after completing the enrollment process for your weekly rate to be adjusted accordingly.)
Camp Meals/Snacks: Lunch and 2 snacks (AM/PM) included
Please note that we do not allow any foods that contain or that are processed in plants with tree nuts or peanuts at any of our campsites. We also do not have the capacity to heat up or refrigerate food.
