Adventure Guides
The Adventure Guides program provides fathers and their children with meaningful opportunities to strengthen their relationship through shared experiences, outdoor adventures, and lasting traditions. Campouts provide parents and their children the opportunity to disconnect from everyday distractions, build friendships, and create memories that will be talked about for years to come.
Annual One-Time Enrollment Fee: $67.00
The program registration fee covers expenses that are not covered by campouts or events. This is a yearly fee that only needs to be paid once a school year and will be applied upon completing a registration for the program, campout or event below for the current school year.

Please register for the program using the register link below and complete the New Group Interest Form. Once registered below and at the link provided, one of our Adventure Guide (AG) Directors will reach out to help get you started in the program.
*Registration to this division is not required prior to registering for program events or campouts for those participants returning from previous school year(s). The one-time program fee will be applied when registering for the first event or campout of the current school year.

AG Program Campout - AG Camp Grady Spruce (CGS)
Join us for an unforgettable weekend at Camp Grady Spruce (CGS), where adventure and exploration await around every corner. Nestled in the foothills of the Palo Pinto Mountains, less than 75 miles west of Fort Worth, CGS overlooks the stunning waters of Possum Kingdom Lake – often called the Great Lake of Texas. Surrounded by rugged cliffs, rolling hills, and more than 18,000 acres of crystal-clear water, this beautiful setting provides the perfect backdrop for shared adventures.
Camp location: 3000 PR-36, Graford, TX 76449
Check-in: Friday 4p-8p
Check-out: Sunday 10a
Camp amenities: Cabins ranging from 14-20 twin beds, 1-2 bathrooms with showers, full HVAC system, electricity, and firepit!
Activities: archery, BBs, barge ride across the lake, campfires, climbing wall, hiking, horseback rides, ziplines, and more
Meals: Saturday (Breakfast and Lunch) and Sunday (Breakfast “Grab and Go”) included
What to bring: pillow and bedding (twin-size mattress), toiletries, bug spray and sunscreen, refillable water bottles (water stations are available throughout camp), snacks, closed-toe shoes (additional recommended items will be shared prior to the campout)
Pricing: YMCA Member Pair $230; Non-Member Pair $280; Additional Child $140
*Pair refers to the first youth participant and guardian.
*Cancellations requested more than 7 days prior to the campout check-in date will be refunded to the same payment method used at registration (or via a check if unable to refund the original method). Cancellations requested within the 7 days prior to the campout check-in date are not guaranteed and may be considered depending on circumstance.

AG Program Campout - AG Classen
Join us for an unforgettable weekend at Camp Classen, where adventure and exploration await around every corner. Located in the Arbuckle Mountains, Camp Classen offers 2,200 acres of streams, forest trails, open fields, and lakes providing a camping experience packed with chances to explore, learn and build memories to last a lifetime.

Check-in: Friday 4p-8p
Check-out: Sunday 10a
Camp amenities: Cabins ranging from 10-14 twin beds, bathrooms with accessibility to a shower house, full HVAC system, electricity, and firepit!
Activities: archery, campfires, climbing wall, hiking, horseback rides, ropes course, and more
Meals: Saturday (Breakfast and Lunch) included
