Preschool at Park South Y
Through Preschool at the Y, children will be introduced to the important skills of building character values, self-esteem, and improving kindergarten readiness. The YMCA Preschool program focuses on all areas of development for children of preschool age. These areas include fine and gross motor skills, physical activities, arts and crafts, science, math and counting, letters and much more. Because childhood development is so essential to the Y’s core values, it is our top priority to provide children the necessary skills and appropriate environment in which they are encouraged to be creative, independent and responsible.
At the Park South YMCA Preschool, we take responsibility of early childhood education seriously. We base our educational and guidance decisions for children on our knowledge of child development. Our number one goal is to provide the kind of environment and influence that encourages all children to become creative, independent, and responsible students who can make positive choices for themselves.

Dallas Private and ISD Afterschool - Preschool
Our afterschool preschool program includes age-appropriate hands-on learning activities, arts and crafts, and tons of friendship and fun. All preschoolers ages 4-years and up must be restroom independent.
Participants must be enrolled at one of these Schools Preschool programs before registering for the Afterschool program at the YMCA: Charles Rice, MLK, Dunbar, JJ Roads, St. Phillip’s.
Children will be picked up from the DISD school listed above by YMCA bus and taken to the YMCA Afterschool program.
Preschool Location: Park South YMCA | 2500 Romine Ave., Dallas, 75215
Hours of Operation: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Operating Dates: Tuesday 8/11/2026 through Friday 5/26/2027
2026-27 Calendar
Rates: $40.00 per week for YMCA Members | $45.00 for Non-Members
Meals/Snacks: Snack included

Camp Rates: $15.00 One-Time Registration Fee | $90.00 per week for YMCA Members | $130.00 for Non-Members
