Parent’s Day Out
Children will have a great day engaging in many age-appropriate activities and games with peers, while parents have time to themselves. Our staff’s top priority is to facilitate a fun, caring and safe environment throughout the day.
Parent's Day Out
Each Parent’s Day Out session may have a theme. Participants are encouraged to dress according to the theme, but it is not required. All attire must be YMCA appropriate and include close toed shoes.
Activities for the night
- age-appropriate games
- themed crafts
- a fun movie
- gym and outdoor play
- a light meal
Things to bring
- close toed shoes with backs (for safe play in the gym and outside)
- labeled water bottle
- diaper bag or change of clothes for those who are not fully potty trained
- jacket if needed
Things NOT allowed
- toys from home
- stuffed animals
- sleeping bags or blankets
- Pokémon cards
Cancellation Policy
To best serve our members, please note that we require a 24-hour notice of cancellation. Failure to provide proper notice will result in a 2-month suspension from PDO registration.

Parent’s Day Out
Drop off your kids with us for a fun Parent’s Day Out at the Frisco Family YMCA! From 9am to 1pm, our CPR/First Aid/AED trained staff will lead engaging activities like arts and crafts, games, a movie, and lunch. Simply bring them over for a worry-free and enjoyable time!
