CPR/FIRST AID/AED
Become trained to save a life!
We can never predict when or where an emergency might occur. CPR and First Aid certification is a simple step that can help protect you and your family. The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is a nationally recognized American Heart Association Training Center. All certification courses meet the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services standards of training.
These courses teach students critical skills needed to respond in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card valid for two (2) years.

Our expert instructors will guide you through hands-on practice, equipping you to handle critical situations effectively. All CPR classes follow a program structure called “Blended Learning”. This is a mix approach using both online and in-person learning; core knowledge content is provided in video segments and interactive student exercise on-line, followed by in-person, instructor-led exercises and skill practice.
